This piece is an expressionist take on the iconic Tunnel View in Yosemite National Park here in California. I used palette knives to add textured details which are visible on the print. The sky is a striking sunset in shades of pale blue, coral, fluorescent red, cobalt blue, and golden yellow. El Capitan rises on the left side of tunnel view and has textured paint strokes. It casts deep cobalt blue shadows over the valley. Half dome peeks through in the distance. Bridalveil falls is painted on the left to compliment the colors of El Capitan. In the foreground are abstract textured flowers.
